The burners are mounted directly onto the countertop but are thoroughly sealed against liquids. All mechanical parts are concealed beneath the work surface.

Installing a PITT Cooking system does not require cutting a wide “recess” in the countertop or stone surface—only holes—which preserves the surface’s strength and eliminates the need to bond two countertop slabs at the center of the cut. The company, which began operations over 15 years ago, offers dozens of models, ranging from a single burner to large 6-burner systems. The turbo burner, which offers a wide range of control—from slow cooking to high-heat cooking (by activating only the inner ring or both rings together)—can be fitted with a cast ring designed for a wok. The burner spacing on PITT Cooking models is approximately 8 cm wider than on standard stoves, allowing large pots to be placed on all burners simultaneously.
