Design Notes

The maximum duct length for optimal performance is Lmax 23 m .

For optimal extraction performance, the maximum distance between the stove and the ventilation unit is 120 cm.

In this case,the maximum width of the cooktop combination is 100 cm.
When adding a frame or range hood, the maximum width of the cooktop combination is 130 cm.

Ceiling ventilation should be treated as room ventilation when the distance to the cooktop exceeds 120 cm, as direct vapor capture will be limited.

Please consider consulting an HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) specialist.

For installation in a suspended ceiling.

A suitable load-bearing structure is required to secure the range hood. Lightweight building materials are acceptable.

Recommended minimum clearance between the unit and the external filter module: 100 cm.

For air recirculation, use an external air recirculation module.

Minimum clearance above gas appliances: 65 cm (70 cm for total gas load exceeding 12 kW).

Minimum clearance above electrical appliances: 65 cm.

Recirculation is not recommended in combination with the Vario electric grill .

When installing a range hood with an exhaust mode and a chimney-vented fireplace, the ventilation unit’s power supply line must be equipped with an appropriate safety switch.
